Chaptaa Four

So it's Thursday and I had nothing. Absolutley nothing. I thought it was going to be one of those lame-o Dark-Closet day like Lisi had that was okay 'cause she had good reasons. But I had none besides being extremely lazy. I didn't want to let you all down, so I just typed this up in one sitting session. Because I love you. So SHOUT OUT to me.(: Sorry I know it's lame to give a shout out to yourself. So here is Chapter Four of A Star From the Sea (first time I get to say the story title!) Hope ya enjoy it. Though it's kind of... evil. And violent. That sounds bad haha sorry I will just shut up so you can read it.

Chapter Four
~Rochelle~

I shooed the girls away and, with looks of shock, they left, slowly walking around the corner, with no formation anymore. I turned towards the pair of bright green eyes and just looked into them in an awkward silence. I felt the overwhelming urge to hug him. So I did. His shirt was soft and it smelt like Febreeze. He put his hands on my shoulders and looked at me. "Wow. Rochelle. It's really you!"

I laughed. "Thanks, Captain Obvious." I said while smiling. Like seriously, what are the odds? By now, I had already forgotten about Jacqui's rule. I was just blissed out.

"So you are new here? I would be happy to give you a tour." said Josh quietly, obviously aware of his friends staring at him, wondering who the chick who just hugged him was.

"Why thank you, Jo-"

"JOSH!" screamed a voice. I whipped around to see a girl with dark brown hair, and even tan, shorts that I was pretty sure broke the student handbook dress code. Her huge sunglasses covered half of her face and her probably surgery-inhanced lips were smothered in gloss.

"Ohmy-gawd Josh! I was just-"

I wanted to slap the girls cheesy smile right off her face.

"Okay, maybe those last-season no-name clearence bin sunglasses are blocking your view, but we're trying to have a conversation here. Thanks." Josh snickered into his hand quietly, while Daisy-Duke-Shorts' mouth dropped into a glossy 'O'. I wish Jacqui had been there to here that one. She would have been impressed.

DDS shook her head and continued towards Josh. She was eventually right next to me, and even closer to Josh. She ignored me and pressed against him. "Hey Joshy! So you know how last year you were like toh-tally into me but I didn't really like, care? Well..." she stroked his hair back. "I toh-tally changed my mind. You're just so cute!" She leaned forward and....

She kissed him.

It was my turn for my mouth to drop open.

And Josh didn't even pull away. He just let her for a few seconds. Before he came to his sences and pushed her off of him. He looked flustered, and he wiped the sticky lip gloss off of his lips.

He opened his mouth to say something, but I interrupted him.

"Um, hey skank. I don't know who you think you are, but you better get away from my boyfriend."

I bit my lip immediatley after I said it. Was that what Josh was? My boyfriend? I looked at him. He was just pressed against the wall, not wanting to get involved with the chick fight that was going on.

"Your boyfriend? Good one. You are nawt Josh's girlfriend. I'm his girlfriend." she said, tugging on Josh's arm.

"Hannah..." he started.

"I don't think so. From what it sounds like, you lost your chance. I'm his girlfriend." I tugged at his other arm. Josh looked flustered that he was becoming a rope in a game of tug-of-war.

"Puh-lease. He was totally obsessed with me last year. He'd pick me over you any day!"

"Oh yeah? Maybe you missed it when we were making out on the beach this summer. He's mine!"

"Uh, girls-" Josh said.

"Shut up!" we both screamed at the same time.

The fight had started to make a crowd, including my girls who had came back.

"Now take your tacky, cheap, hooker boots and get out of here!" I yelled at her. I can't believe I was fighting over a boy in the middle of a hallway. Great first day.

"Ohmy-gawd. These are soo not cheap."

"Oh really? I said with a smile. I crouched down and took the boot right off of her foot. It was leapord print and purple. Tack-iee!

"What are you doing?!" she screamed. I just took one hold of the boot and one hold of the four-inch heel and pulled. Snap.

The boot was instantly seperated from the heel. She just looked in horror.

"Oh no you didn't!" she yelled. She raised her fist to punch me, but I instinctivley ducked to avoid it. She was shocked. I just laughed. While I was laughing, she pushed me to the ground. I stared up at her, trying to ignore the pain on my butt from landing. I grabbed part of her shirt and pulled her down with me.

I instantly tried to flail my arms in any way that would make contact to her and hurt. She had a few sharp blows to my stomach, but I had more. Finally, some kid interrupted the cheers of "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!"

"Teacher coming!" he yelled. Everyone cleared up, and me and Hannah stood up instantly. The teacher walked by slowly, eyeing us suspisiously behind half-moon glasses. Her hair was cut very short and she was wearing the classic matching sweater and knee-length skirt. When the teacher finally turned the corner, Hannah turned to me and instantly tried to resume the physical fight. Josh put his hand out before she could touch me.

"Look, Hannah... yeah, last year I liked you. But nothing happened. I like Rochelle now... and we are together. Sorry."

I grinned cockily at Hannah, and she just looked confused.

"Wait." she said, "You're rejecting me?"

"Yeah. He is. Good job figuring it out."

Josh smiled faintly at me.

Hannah just stood their, dumbfounded. She picked up her glasses that had fallen on the ground and put them back on, pouting.

"Okay, bye-bye." I said to her, walking down the hallway with Josh by my side.

"You'll pay for this!" she screamed in the middle of the hallway.

"Yeah, sure." I yelled without turning my head.

I heard the click THUNK click THUNK of a girl with one heel broken off following us. She grabbed my shoulder and whipped me around. I pulled her hand off of me, and signaled Josh he should move along. He looked worried for a second, before continuing down the hallway.

"Look," she whispered with her teeth gritted. "I'm the popular girl. I'm the pretty girl. I'm the girl who gets all the guys, attention, and just everything. You and your little friends aren't going to ruin all of that. If you were smart, you would stay away from Josh. Because I always get what I want."

I just laughed at her cockiness. "Wow, could you get any more concieted? Get over yourself. I'm so glad to be the girl who gets in the way of you getting whatever you want. You really need to back off."

She just glared at me. "You can't give that crap to me. I am-"

I turned on my heel and walked away before she could finish.

"I AM THE GIRL, SWEETIE! I RUN THIS SCHOOL!" she screamed after me. I smiled when I heard the snickers of people hearing her scream in the hallway.

I may seem evil and rude, but seriously? I thought that girl was worse. I may have seemed sweet before, but I do have a bad side. And that bad side was just craving to see that girl fall.

Ooh, unexpected, roightt? Well I sure hope it was. TTTT! (Ta Ta Till Tuesday!)

Chella
